Steinbach, MB – December 20, 2017 – Spreading Christmas cheer was as easy as pressing the Facebook Like button between December 11 & 18, 2017. For every Like the BSI Insurance Facebook Page received above the starting Page Like number between the above dates, we donated one item to South East Helping Hands foodbank in Steinbach, Manitoba. BSI Insurance has donated 32 items, a mixture of food and hygiene items, to South East Helping Hands based on the results of One Page Like for One Item. Thank you to all who contributed to this donation! In addition to our item donation, we donated $200 to further contribute to Steinbach Community Christmas.
Steinbach Community Christmas operates out of South East Helping Hands for the month of December. Its mission is to spread love during the holiday season by making Christmas hamper donations to families in need. Hampers include an assortment of food, household, and Christmas present donations and are distributed to families in Steinbach, Blumenort, Mitchell, and La Broquerie. For the 2017 year, it took almost 500 volunteers; including full time and part time, school, sports teams, and delivery driver volunteers; to distribute roughly 1,000 hampers to people in need. Thank you to all the volunteers who help spread Christmas cheer and love in and around Steinbach!
