Together, BSI Insurance Brokers and Red River Mutual raised $3,000 in support of True North Youth Foundation at their annual charity hockey game, held on March 6, 2020. BSI Insurance Brokers and their insurance company partner, Red River Mutual, explained their joint support of True North Youth Foundation by sharing that, “It is True North’s passion for providing opportunities for underserved youth in Manitoba to reach their full potential that inspires us to support this foundation.”
True North Youth Foundation is a charitable organization, separate from True North Sports + Entertainment, that works to support Manitoba families by providing opportunities that encourage underserved youth in the community to reach their full physical, social, emotional and intellectual potential. True North Youth Foundation seeks to consistently re-invest in youth and local programs while ensuring a level of consistent, predictable impact on the youth of the Manitoba.
Game Recap
BSI Insurance won the 8th annual BSI vs. RRM Charity Hockey game with a score of 6-5 in Overtime. BSI had a big lead with minutes left in the 3rd, waiting for the clock to strike 0. However, RRM did not give up and scored three goals to tie the game and send it into 4 on 4 overtime. After a short break between the 3rd and the extra frame, BSI Insurance took to the ice and got a lucky bounce that led to Griffen’s hat trick goal and the game winner. What a great hockey game!
