Additionally, we are thrilled to announce that BSI Insurance has generously donated $1000 to the Pembina Valley Humane Society. This contribution played a pivotal role in acquiring a new shelter van, thereby enabling them to continue their vital work.
Pembina Valley Humane Society:
The Pembina Valley Humane Society is a volunteer-driven nonprofit organization that extends its care across 29 towns in southwestern Manitoba. Their mission is clear: to provide a haven for abandoned animals, ensure their well-being during their shelter stay, facilitate suitable adoption placements, and actively address pet overpopulation by spaying and neutering all animals in their care. They rescue unwanted pets, tend to strays enduring harsh conditions, offer refuge to unclaimed pound animals, and rehabilitate neglected animals.
BSI Insurance’s heartfelt donation towards the acquisition of a new shelter van will undoubtedly empower the Pembina Valley Humane Society for years to come. This versatile van serves a myriad of essential daily tasks. These include animal transportation to veterinary appointments, facilitating educational outreach at local schools, providing transportation for animal therapy visits in the community, procuring supplies, and much more.
