Manitou, MB – Manitou slides into summer with a $2000 donation from BSI Insurance.

The Manitou Campground Playground Committee recently started to bring a modest-sized play structure and swing set to the Manitou Campground. With the recent additions and modifications of campsites, the new bathroom facility, and the landscaping to come, an addition of a playground will help complement these recent improvements. This addition will greatly benefit the campers who use the park and give yet another reason to add Manitou to their camping destination list year after year. Not only will it bring in more people to the park from outside the community, but it will greatly benefit the community members and the children who reside here, being able to use this playground and enjoy the park that is right in their own “backyard”.
The committee has begun our fundraising and is excited and hopeful to hit our goal of the $64000 needed to complete the project in 2022!
Because We Care – Because we care about our customers, employees, and the communities we operate in, we created the Because We Care Initiative. Through this initiative, we donate roughly $25,000 annually to communities we operate in and around. This initiative allows us to contribute to individual and community causes as well as larger community projects.
