Through our, Because We Care initiative, we are dedicated to supporting local organizations and causes that strive to improve the lives of others. We are delighted to announce that BSI Insurance has donated $2000 to the Manitoba Camping Association’s Sunshine Fund. This contribution will help financially challenged families send their school-age children to camp, providing them with a transformative experience in the great outdoors.
The Manitoba Camping Association’s Sunshine Fund is a remarkable program that aims to give children from financially disadvantaged families the opportunity to attend summer camp. For many of these children, this experience is their only chance to step away from their daily environment and embrace the wonders of nature.
With the help of generous donations like BSI Insurance’s contribution, the Manitoba Camping Association’s Sunshine Fund aims to provide over 500 children with the opportunity to experience the joy and personal growth that summer camp offers. By empowering these children to leave their challenging circumstances behind, the fund is helping to create lasting memories and a positive trajectory for their futures.
The impact of attending summer camp extends far beyond the immediate experience. The newfound confidence, skills, and friendships gained during this time become invaluable assets for children as they navigate their lives beyond camp.
