Letellier, MB – If you build it… the kids will play.
The Letellier Athletic Association oversees the Letellier Community Centre, the Arena, and the Park, and this year, the LAA has been fundraising for a new play structure which comes with a hefty price tag of $130,000.
The dedicated volunteers have already raised a whopping $66,204 (as of August 10th according to their Facebook page) reaching just over half of their goal. The LAA had reached out to BSI Insurance this summer to ask for funds through BSI’s Because We Care initiative. The marketing team at BSI decided that The Letellier Park Project was a great fit and the Letellier Athletic Association received a $1000 donation from their local insurance company.
