Manitoba – Free FryDay

On July 24th, Enns Brothers and McCain’s Canada got together to raise money in support of STARS Air Ambulance Manitoba and Ronald McDonald’s House Charities Manitoba. Their goal was to fundraise $200,000 for these amazing organizations while also supporting Canadian potato farmers by giving out nearly 15,000 bags of french fries.

BSI Insurance was challenged by Leigh Manikel, the VP Aftermarket from Enns Brothers to see if the insurance company wanted to help. BSI accepted without hesitation and jumped at the chance to donate to this great initiative.

On Friday, July 31st, BSI Insurance will be teaming up with local restaurant owner, Luc Peloquin, to hand out free french fries to Lucky Luc’s Bar & Grill customers and community members of Ste. Agathe and St-Pierre-Jolys, where both of Luc’s restaurants are located.

“With Covid, many of BSI’s customer appreciation days were canceled or postponed and we thought this would be a great way to give back to a couple of our communities while supporting local charities and local businesses, as well as encouraging people to donate to FreeFryDay.ca. It’s a win win win.” said David Robin, Marketing Specialist for BSI Insurance.

Enns Brothers are still accepting donations for the time being. Anyone who is able or interested to donate, please visit www.freefryday.ca and follow the donation links.
