Carman, MB – BSI Insurance donates $3000 for a new dock in Carman.

A new dock was installed on the Boyne River last month. BSI Insurance’s Because We Care donation covered just under half the amount of the dock, which is valued at $7000. “Projects like these, that improve the community are exactly what our Because We Care program is all about,” expressed David Robin, the Marketing Specialist at BSI Insurance. The dock is another addition to Carman’s great outdoor recreational scene, and it will encourage even more people to enjoy the outdoors.
This was all possible because of a group of volunteers (Boyne River Keepers) and the support of local businesses. The BRK group dedicate their time to helping people develop and maintain the river. This dock is one of many ideas that has become a reality due to the great volunteers.
Because We Care – Because we care about our customers, employees, and the communities we operate in, we created the Because We Care Initiative.
