Steinbach, MB – October 19th, 2018 – BSI Insurance has donated $1,000 to STARS Foundation. STARS is a charitable, non-profit organization who is committed to life-saving services. They are funded by individuals, organizations, businesses, event partners and governments. 32.3% of STARS funding is based on community partnerships and donations, second only to government contributions at 37.9%. The funds are used for staying above and beyond the necessary technologies that government funds provide. Being able to have certain lifesaving equipment on board to be able to care for and treat patients; acting as an emergency room before arriving to the hospital. STARS makes approximately 2 trips per day in Manitoba alone. This donation is made through BSI Insurance’s Because We Care Initiative.
