Morris, MB – February 28, 2017 – BSI Insurance and Red River Mutual hosted a Charity Hockey Game at the Morris Multiplex in support of the Pembina Valley Humane Society. Employees raised over $1100 while BSI and Red River Mutual contributed $1200 each for a total donation of $3500 to the Pembina Valley Humane Society. BSI won the 5th annual fundraiser with a final score of 10-3.
Pembina Valley Humane Society – The Pembina Valley Humane Society is a volunteer run, non-profit organization, serving 29 towns in southwestern Manitoba. Their purpose is to help abandoned animals by providing care for them during their stay at the shelter, finding suitable adoption placements and controlling pet overpopulation by ensuring all of the animals are spayed or neutered.
