Winnipeg, MB – August 1st, 2017 – BSI Insurance has donated $2000 to The Manitoba Camping Association Sunshine Fund. The Sunshine Fund was created to give children the gift of camp whose families experience financial barriers that prevent them from participating in healthy recreational activities. On average the MB Camping Association has advised it costs approximately $400.00 – $700.00 to send one child to camp. Their goal is to send 1000 kids this year and have so far been able to send 590. “Every child deserves the opportunity to go to camp regardless of race, faith, family income, or special needs. Camp is a place where everyone belongs. The Manitoba Camping Association Sunshine Fund is here to help children experience the benefits of camp.” This donation is done in part with the BSI – Because We Care initiative.
