Combined contributions of $7,500 support a new playground project at École régionale Saint-Jean-Baptiste
Students and families in St. Jean Baptiste will soon have an enhanced place to play, learn, and connect. All thanks to the combined support of Peace Hills Insurance and ONE Insurance.
Through its Hometown Turnaround Campaign, Peace Hills Insurance selected École régionale Saint-Jean-Baptiste as a recipient of a $5,000 donation to support the school’s playground project. To further advance the initiative, ONE Insurance contributed an additional $2,500 through its Because We Care community giving program.
The combined $7,500 investment will help bring the playground project closer to reality. It will create an engaging outdoor space for students while supporting the health, well-being, and development of local children.
A quality playground provides much more than recreation. It encourages physical activity, fosters creativity and social interaction, and helps children build confidence, friendships, and important life skills. The new playground will serve as a valuable asset for both the school and the broader St. Jean Baptiste community.
