About this Opportunity:
Reporting to the Director, Ag & Commercial Services, our Commercial Insurance Advisor’s primary responsibility is to provide outstanding and professional counsel to our clients on their Commercial insurance. Building solid rapport with existing, and new clients is essential while providing coverage options that suit their individual needs. The successful candidate will also become familiar with ONE Insurance’s other lines of business to cross-sell our wide variety of products/services to our clients.
Performance Objectives:
- Ensure retention and growth of a Commercial Book of Business; including all customer and book management requirements are managed, delivered on time, and reviewing all new policies and cancellations
- Achieve the established individual growth and sales objectives as outlined annually
- Prospect new customers and opportunities
- Work alongside a Marketing Broker to prepare all proposals for new business and renewals.
- Create leads for all parts of the business ensuring optimization of every cross-sell opportunity
Qualifications/Skills:
- Demonstrated experience with Commercial insurance is required
- Current Level 2 or 3 Manitoba Insurance License (full CAIB designation is considered a strong asset)
- Minimum two (2) years of industry experience managing a comparable book of business
- Experience with the EPIC broker management system is considered an asset
- Organized and efficient with the ability to multitask and maintain an assigned Book of Business
- Flexibility and a positive team player approach with effective communication skills
